These are words I won't use much in the next few weeks. I guess we are not running around and working like a typical ER shift but there's always something to do. There are always conversations, questions or interaction easy to get engaged in. Walking across the main area of our Team Canada space, it's difficult not crossing someone and starting to chat. Soon it will be more running from venue to venue covering our athletes as they compete and returning here to see some at the clinic. Different running but all exciting as the energy of the Games keeps increasing.
So this morning, I have some spare time. Still managed a few hours helping with suitcase distribution on various floors. Got up at 5:45 and spent a little time in the gym which is quiet this early in the Games as not as many people are here yet.
I took a few pics of Village stuff. Hopefully you can get a little visual experience of what our life is here for the next few weeks.
